The third edition of the AFRICAN KNOCKOUT  FaceOff Fight Night series is returning this year to connect lovers of entertainment and  mixed martial arts. The one-day event scheduled to hold on thursday 29th December at Landmark event center had its press conference on wednesday,  28th December 2022.

The press conference which held at The Art Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos,  had in attendance UFC legend and founder of AFRICAN KNOCK OUT (AKO), promoter of the FACE-OFF FIGHT NIGHT SERIES; Kamaru Usman, The CEO Tingo Mobile PLC; Maude Auwal Tahir, The Chairman Lagos Sports Commission, Sola Aiyepeku among others.

The FACE OFF FIGHT NIGHTS aims to position Mixed Martial Arts as one of the major sports in Africa by providing a platform for young talents, and giving MMA fans a new and unique experience of watching professional MMA fights live. 

According to the UFC Legend Kamaru Usman, “THE AFRICAN KNOCKOUT (AKO), is excited to bring the biggest fights to MMA fans around in Africa and will continue its commitment to excellence.”

The main event kicks off on the 29th of December with the Red carpet starting at 5pm tomorrow before the MMA fights begin. The FaceOff Fight Night series 3 will be broadcast on Supersport 2 on Gotv and Supersport Variety 4 on DSTV. It will also stream live for the international audience on the “The AKO Show” Youtube channel.
