R&B Afro-soul singer, Mannywellz, breathes visual life into his hit track ‘A Million’ featuring Wale, off his masterpiece of an E.P ‘The Mirage’: the artist’s first solid body of work, which boasts of epic songs like ‘Floating’, Danfo Master’, ‘Dangerous’ and ‘SweetNTender’.

The visual which is the second to be released off his debut EP; after the visual to ‘Floating’ ft VanJess was released a few months ago, is an artist’s delight, celebrating self-love, dignity, and self-worth. Styled from top to toe by Alexander Julian, this Nigerian-American-based R&B Soul artiste, producer, and multi-instrumentalist tell a touching tale of life’s values in this groovy, vibey, soulful visual that just moves you and makes you do like a little two-step. ”A Million” isn’t the type of song that requires too much dancing, you just need to know how to move.

Directed by Malik Suleiman and Mannywellz himself, ‘A Million’ featuring Nigerian-American rapper Wale, is that sound that just reminds us to keep loving as life throws different types of challenges at us, especially romantically. Manny is eloquent when he says ”we go through various things in life and forget to love ourselves”. A constant reminder of this throughout the visual, Mannywellz is a dream as he takes his audience on this journey of heartbreak, pain, and attachments which ultimately translate to self-appreciation. A pensive Mannywellz says: ”The importance of self-love cannot be emphasized enough. As much as I open up about the highs and lows of love and heartbreak, it’s also important to me to make people feel like they can be vulnerable. I really hope people can connect to that”. For a song that almost didn’t make the cut for the EP, Mannywellz certainly didn’t stand on ceremony with the visual to the hit song ‘ A Million”which is a festival of emotions and an audience delight.
