J.Malone of Australian Broadcasting & Media Production company in Melbourne, TMC Media sat down recently with Afroclassic pioneer Kizz Daniel while he was on his Afroclassic tour of the country, revealing the very reserved and unknown side of the king of ‘No Bad Songz’.
The successful artist who spoke about his many firsts — first time in the studio, first time performing and first time recording as an artiste, relived the horrific experiences he had as a newbie in the industry.
Delving a little more deeply into himself as a person before an artist, his musical journey and his family, Kizz recalls having never tried music while in School because he wanted to fulfill a promise he made to his dad to focus on his education. A very nostalgic Kizz takes a moment and speaks in sober reflection on the gift he craved to give his father before he passed — a brand new car, something he wished so hard for.
In this interview released on November 10, 2022, Kizz speaks about his upcoming project, an album he chose to title ‘ Alcohol and Cigarette’, slated for release in February 2023. The title, which makes an interesting choice, since the massively talented artist shared it has been building wild anticipation from his fans.
Kizz Daniel has enjoyed a successful 2022 with his single ‘Buga’ becoming one of the biggest singles out of the continent; his successful ‘Afroclassic Tour’ of the UK, US, Canada, and select African countries, including Rwanda, Namibia, Uganda and one of South America’s vivacious entertainment hubs — Suriname; and now his addictive street jam, ‘Cough’ Odo.
